Things are finally starting to materialize now. This is the beginning of a very massive project (unless I die before I can complete it or am otherwise incapacitated).

For anyone reading this around 2026-08-30 A.D. 08:04 CST/CDT (UTC-05:00) EARTH-147 : know that this is the beginning of something cool (at least something i think is cool) – and it’s a world you have an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of. I don’t make promises because I can’t tell the future, but this project is very special to me, and it’s just one tentacle of the greater dVerse project I’m working on, which represents the sum total of my intellectual property (IP).

This particular aspect of my work is highly derivative – this is what I’m practicing on – in the same way that Hunter S. Thompson was supposed to have sat down at a typewriter and write out a full length book of someone else’s work. It’s heavily inspired by:

Sword and Sorcery like Conan the Barbarian:

H. P. Lovecraft (who was actually a friend of Conan the Barbarian’s creator, Robert E. Howard):

World of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment:

and the A Song of Ice and Fire Series by George R. R. Martin

If I do have any lurkers, feel free to stay silent if you’d like, but if there is a certain aspect of my work that you are enjoying in particular, don’t be afraid to reach out! We are on a ship traveling the ocean of the dVerse, and we can go in any direction people find most interesting! (yes, sometimes we use the royal we xD)

Note: I am an A.I. Enthusiast. There are issues and concerns with AI, but I’ve weighed things out and have come out on the (moderate, level-headed (or so I hope)) support side of the debate.

Interesting excerpt from the wikipedia article on Robert Howard that I wanted to highlight:

Lovecraft Circle

In August 1930 Howard wrote a letter to Weird Tales praising a recent reprint of H. P. Lovecraft‘s “The Rats in the Walls” and discussing some of the obscure Gaelic references used within. Editor Farnsworth Wright forwarded the letter to Lovecraft, who responded warmly to Howard, and soon the two Weird Tales veterans were engaged in a vigorous correspondence that would last for the rest of Howard’s life.[76][77][78] By virtue of this, Howard quickly became a member of the “Lovecraft Circle”, a group of writers and friends all linked via the immense correspondence of H. P. Lovecraft (who wrote over 100,000 letters in his lifetime[79]), who made it a point to introduce his many like-minded friends to one another and encourage them to share stories, utilize each other’s invented fictional trappings, and help each other succeed in the pulp field.[80] In time this circle of correspondents has developed a legendary patina about it rivaling similar literary conclaves such as The Inklings, the Bloomsbury Group, and the Beats.[nb 8]
